God's Way Is Always The Best Way.

The topic of interest this week is very important.  It is important in the day and age we live in, that we know what truth is and what is not true.  We live in a world that calls the truth a lie and a lie the truth.
The Bible says in John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Now everything I am going to share with you is going to be God’s truth as it is written in the Bible.
God Word tells us that hell is a place where wicked people go.  Psalm 9:17 “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” God also says that if anyone transgresses the law they will end up in hell. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Now the word death in this verse means an eternal separation from God. Everyone wants to go to heaven and why wouldn’t they it is a wonderful place? But to get there you must do it God’s way. After all it is His heaven, he created it. Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
Now there is only one way you can get to Heaven and that’s through the person of Jesus Christ. John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Jesus came to earth lived as a man and died on the cross so that you and I could have eternal life. II Corinthians 5:21 “For God hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” He took our punishment for the sins we have done. Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” So what this means is, we are not good enough to get to heaven without Jesus’ shed blood on the Cross. It’s only through God’s grace that we can have this eternal salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
There are a lot of people in the world and in church who think they are going to heaven because they are a deacon or they go to church and say amen, or they are a good person of the community. That’s great and all we should be helping people. But if a person does not trust Jesus as the only way to heaven then a devil’s hell is where they’re headed. Matthew 7:22:24 “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock.” I Corinthians 3:11 “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
This concept of not being good starts at birth. Romans 5:12 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” Psalm 51:5 “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” When Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden he passed his sin on to all the rest of us after him. As I come near to finishing my thoughts on this. The Bible talks about a wrath of God towards sin and wickedness, so then His mercy and grace is needed. But if we are all ok people, good at heart then there is no need for a Savior. But like I pointed out we as sinners do need saving and only God can do that. We have no part in that awesome work.
There is a lot of deception today about Heaven and Hell, about Jesus and Satan, about church and religion. This is why God gave us the Bible to set us straight and to keep truth alive and not lost in lies. Personally I don’t think much of most religions. Like many have said they have a lot to do with selfishness, hate, greed and hypocrisy. That’s not what God’s word stands for. What I shared with you was not a particular belief, but rather the truth according to God.

  1. Very very plain message supported by the Bible. Praise God for the willingness of a man to listen to God and post this. I pray this blesses whom ever reads it!
